Dr. Dustin Kidder
Advanced General & Implant Dentistry
Baton Rouge has unsuccessfully tried to oust Dr. Dustin for over 40 years. Even though no other city will take him, we like to tell him he’s wanted and needed here. Despite what many of his patients think, he has a legitimate dental degree. Yes, it’s from LSU. No, he didn’t think of going anywhere else. He’s at a sweet spot in his career…he mostly knows what he’s doing and has the energy to do it another 20-25 years. He is left eye dominant, has small hands which are not yet shaky, and is a perfectionist to a fault. He and Liz have 2 of the best boys you’ll ever see—Sam and Levi. They are dog lovers and have a golden retriever, Leo. Dustin is an aspirational chef, golfer, traveler, stoic, and reader/writer. He has retired from running, dancing, basketball, racquetball, hacky sacking, and beach volleyball. He’s a phenomenal coach and referee from the comforts of his home and is always willing to give out advice—solicited or unsolicited—on many topics but especially sports, parenting, and common sense.
Dr. Sean Owens
Surgical, Implant & Sedation Dentistry
An LSU School of Dentistry graduate, Dr. Owens completed advanced training at the University of Alabama-Birmingham VA Hospital and a 300-hour implant externship through Stony Brook University and Dental XP. He brings expertise in complex restorative and surgical care, combining a calm demeanor with surgical precision—especially valued by patients with anxiety or advanced treatment needs.

Dr. Elizabeth Kidder
Comprehensive Family & Cosmetic Dentistry
Originally from Minneapolis, Dr. Liz earned her dental degree from the University of Minnesota and completed her residency at the VA Hospital in Milwaukee. After a decade running a successful practice in Minnesota, she joined Dr. Dustin in Baton Rouge to pursue their shared vision of relationship-based care. Known for her thoughtful, aesthetic approach, Dr. Liz is also a licensed florist and a respected speaker in the dental community.

Micah Metrailer, CRNA
Deep Sedation and General Anesthesia Care
A Baton Rouge native and owner of Fighting Tiger Anesthesia Services, Dr. Micah Metrailer brings over eight years of experience as a doctor of nursing practice and board-certified registered nurse anesthesiologist. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2012, he began his career as a cardiovascular intensive care registered nurse at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. Having earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2017 from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, he gained experience working as a DNP, CRNA with Anesthesiology Group Associates for over four years. Since he has been working as a traveling DNP, CRNA at hospitals and surgical centers nationwide.
Known for his dedication and compassion, Dr. Metrailer is committed to ensuring safe, effective, and personalized anesthesia care for every patient. A former linebacker for the LSU football team from 2004 to 2007, he carries the values of teamwork and discipline into his practice each day.
